| PAST ISSUE # 117 Questions Kids Ask About God Question: How do I find God? Answer: Finding God is not as difficult as it may seem. You need not climb the highest mountain or swim the deepest ocean to find God. You need not mediate or chant for hours, or fast for months to find God. Finding the true and living God is as simple as a child asking for something in humility and earnestness. We know that God is everywhere (Psalm 139:7-12). As such, God can hear all of our prayers including those of non-believers. A non-believer can find God by simply saying a prayer like the one below. Key Bible verses: Jeremiah 29:13; Zechariah 1:3; Luke 11:9-10; Acts 17:27; Hebrews 11:6 Prayer for a seeker: Dear God, I want to know You. Please help me to find You. Amen. Last words... "You will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul." (Deuteronomy 4:29) Next |
