Question: Why did Adam and Eve sin if they were created in God's image (Genesis 1:27)?

Answer: God gave Adam and Eve the freedom to choose when He created them in His image. As such, they were able to choose to obey or disobey God. God didn't create humans who had no free will to choose. God never forces us to obey or love Him. He desires for us to obey and love Him on our own free will. Related topic in Issue # 2 & 21.
