Question: What is hell like?

Answer: The Bible describes hell as a lake of fire (Revelation 20:14-15, 21:8). Jesus also described hell as hot and fiery (Matthew 5:22, 18:9; Mark 9:43; Luke 16:24). Hell is a place of punishment and suffering for Satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Revelation 20:10), and people who choose to reject God (Issue # 39). Many people think that hell is not real but the Bible clearly states otherwise. Do you know that millions of people will perish if they are not given the opportunity to put their trust in Jesus (John 3:18)? Don't you have any pain or burden for these people who are perishing? Let us pray and ask God to use us to tell people about God's gift of love and salvation for all. Related topic in Issue # 99 & 130.
