| PAST ISSUE # 137 Questions Kids Ask About God Question: How do I know if a church's teaching is correct? Answer: We use God's Word, the Bible to test if a teaching is correct (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If the teaching is against what the Bible teaches, it is considered wrong (Galatians 1:8). For example, if a preacher teaches that Jesus is not God but only a man, this teaching is wrong because it is against what the Bible teaches (Issue # 20). Therefore, it is very important for Christians to study the Bible so that we can know correct teachings from wrong ones. Related topic in Issue # 16 & 113.
