Question: What will happen to babies when they die?

Answer: Babies will go to heaven when they die (2 Samuel 12:23). This is because their sins have been redeemed or paid for by Jesus who died on the cross for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:22). Furthermore, God is righteous and just, and He knows that babies do not have the mental capacity to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). As such, they are innocent and will go to heaven if they die. Related topic in Issue 83 & 140.
