| PAST ISSUE # 83 Questions Kids Ask About God Question: Are children important to God? Answer: In the Bible, Jesus said not to hinder the children from coming to Him for the kingdom of God belongs to such these (Matthew 19:14). We are reminded that children are precious to God. Children play a very important role in the church and the kingdom of God. In the Bible, children have been used by God for His mighty works. For example, Samuel was called by God to serve Him in the temple and prophesize (1 Samuel 2:18, 3:1,4). David was only a child when he killed the Philistine giant, Goliath (1 Samuel 17:41-51). Even Jesus used the limited provisions of a boy to feed five thousand people (John 6:9-11). Are you a child and think that you are useless or unimportant in God's sight? Don't, because God considers you precious and important. God not only loves you but He will use you for His great plans. Age is not important to God. He will use the very young like David to expand His kingdom on earth (1 Corinthians 1:27). Related topic in Issue # 58. Key Bible verses: Psalm 127:3-5, 144:12; Proverbs 17:6; Matthew 18:1-6, 21:15; Mark 5:39-42, 10:14-16; Acts 2:17 Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for cleansing my sins by Your shed blood on the cross. Thank You for loving me and choosing me to be Your child, brother and friend. Even though, I am still young and small, I want to offer my life to You as a living sacrifice. I want to be used for Your mighty works. Lord Jesus, prepare my heart, equip my mind and empower my spirit so that I can be a mighty, holy servant for You. To serve You for the rest of my life is my only joy and pleasure. Amen. Last words...
